Latest News Changes Affecting Payment by Switch and Maestro 1st August 2007 Over the past couple of years, Switch has been migrating to Maestro, MasterCard's global debit brand. Switch has largely disappeared from most cards and shop windows and this change now needs to be made online. Switch cards cannot be accepted online after 30th June 2007. In addition, in order to accept Maestro cards, customers will be required to authenticate their card via the MasterCard SecureCode (also known as '3D Secure'). SecureCode gives customers state-of-the-art protection against fraud when shopping online using a Maestro card: the benefits are described on MasterCard's website. SecureCode is already in place for MasterCard's credit cards for which it is currently optional - it will become mandatory for Maestro cards used online and will be in place by 30th June 2007. We can confirm that The Holistic Shop's payment process has been upgraded to deal with the 3D process, and that your card transactions with us are as a result safer than ever. Delivery is FREE to UK customers for all orders placed with a total value of £30 or more.
Items must be ordered at the same time to qualify for this offer, and must be delivered to the same UK address. Postage and packing will be deducted at the point of invoicing; all orders will be dispatched using Royal Mail's standard parcel delivery service, which generally takes an additional 2-3 working days. Unfortunately this offer cannot be extended outside the UK due to overseas shipping rates. Purchases and Payment Options We provide as many means as possible for you to buy and pay for our goods simply and safely. For online purchases just browse our catalogue pages; for items that you wish to buy simply click on the "Add to basket" icon. This simply stores your choice - you can remove it later on before you make your final purchase. When you've finished shopping, click on "View Basket" to be taken through the checkout and purchase process.
We accept online and mail order credit card payment by Visa , Mastercard, Delta and Maestro. We don't charge for any item until it's ready for delivery. Backordered items are not charged until they are delivered to you. If you prefer, you are welcome to send your credit card information via phone, fax, by post, rather than online.
We also accept payment by cheque or postal order: please select the "cheque sent separately" payment option when ordering. Cheques must be sent to our postal address: 43 Chesterfield Crescent Wing, Leighton Buzzard Beds LU7 0TW For postal and faxed orders you will need to print off our Mail Order Form. Our order form is in PDF format - simply print out a copy, enter your details and post or fax your order form to us. Protx are approved with the majority of UK acquiring banks, including Lloyds TSB Cardnet, The Holistic Shop's merchant account provider.
All credit card information and personal details are handled with the utmost security and will never be released to any other company. Your credit card number will be encrypted by Protx on our behalf when your order is placed, using 128 bit SSL encryption.
It will only be decrypted after reaching our computer, and will not be held in clear text on this or any other website. You may send your credit card information to us via phone, by faxing the mail order form, by post or over the internet. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, and Maestro credit cards.
